I find history and people who live through different experiences to be equally fascinating. I learned about family history from Aunt Frances and the same year, I read about a personal historian who worked in Canada. These inspired me to found Perfect Memoirs in 2011. I became a personal historian and ghostwriter.”
Deborah Wilbrink’s career was in education and media. She is a published freelance writer, with awards from the Associated Press and Advertising Club of America. Deborah was awarded the Berkeley-Oxford scholarship to England’s Oxford University, and a Caribbean cruise for her writing from the International Bluegrass Music Association. She has served on boards for non-profit music and film organizations and as Secretary for the International Association of Personal Historians. A nationally certified teacher of English, Deborah taught grades K through adult for ten years. She managed historic cemeteries and produced news and commercial videos, before embracing book publishing.
With Perfect Memoirs, Deborah has assisted families and individuals with writing and publishing more than two dozen autobiographies, memoirs, or family history books. She is the sole author of two recent books:
