A dance troupe is canceling performances, in Alkmaar, Nederlands, my husband’s home town. There have been some reactions, and a lawsuit, to stop them from dancing – in public cemeteries. They dance between the graves, wearing white. The dance is choreographed by a woman who recently lost her brother. This picture just doesn’t do it justice, but it’s the only one allowed for posting. Use the links to watch. What do you think? Should they or shouldn’t they? I think it’s a beautiful way to celebrate a life. Tragedy has inspired art, as it so often does. Why not share it?
